We invite you to transition from the overstimulation of your day into a state of profound physiological rest. This NEW regularly scheduled ONLINE 60-minute specialized session is not just about "relaxing"—it is a deliberate practice of nervous system regulation designed to signal safety to your body and mind.

Guided by Therapeutic Yoga Specialist Jody Duff, this class weaves together three potent modalities to down-regulate the sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight) and activate the parasympathetic response (rest-and-digest):

  1. Breathwork Flow: We begin with specific, rhythmic breath patterns to mechanically slow the heart rate and tone the Vagus Nerve.

  2. Somatic Movement: Gentle, sensing-based movements help discharge the micro-tensions and "buzz" of daily stress trapped in the fascia and muscles.

  3. Cooling Postures: We conclude with supported, long-hold restorative shapes that lower body temperature and prepare the brain for deep, REM-rich sleep. 

This class is essential for anyone and EVERYONE! Promoting healthy sleep habbits and clearing the mental load of the day. No prior yoga experience is required—just a willingness to slow down.

Suggested Props for Home Practice To fully support your body and ensure the nervous system feels safe enough to let go, please have the following ready:

  • 2-3 Pillows or Bolsters

  • 2 Blankets (one for warmth, one for support)

  • Yoga Blocks (or sturdy books)

  • A Strap (or a bathrobe tie/scarf)
